I believe masks should be optional. I do see a benefit for some but my daughter does have asthma and cannot breathe when she has a mask on. As such she has been unable to go places that are important for her to go. Although I do not have an official asthma diagnosis I too have trouble breathing with a mask.  I do wear one because I do not wish to make anyone else uncomfortable or ill at ease. It would be so much better if we were not looked at like we are crazy maniacs when we don't wear a mask.  It could really be a dangerous health risk for my daughter or myself to wear a mask.
