As an addendum to a prior comment, would like to add that I do indeed support the new regulation being considered, but would like the inclusion of a request for hearing, in order to discuss allowing for the open carry of handguns in State Forests.

Such request and approval, should bring State Forests into full compliance with formal opinion (08-043) which if memory serves me, was published in September 2008 by the Virginia Attorney General.
