VDOLI Emergency Regulations

Dentistry and Dental Offices have continued to operate during this Pandemic safely and with in existing OSHA Pathogen Standards utilizing Universal Precautions for the transmission of pathogens, as well as new guidelines from the CDC, ADA and other Governmental agencies in relation to the COVID19 virus.

Our offices ALWAYS need to operate on the assumption that a patient is infective to others- hence the Universal Precautions. Adding the burden of another bureaucratic exercise to the small businesses of Dentistry would create an onerous situation to an already stressed business as we continue to keep our Staff and Patients safe. This is especially true as we have been continually treating patients during this Pandemic for months. This is a classic "come to the party late" scenario.

With all the information and guidelines from CDC,OSHA, ADA, VDA I believe we do not need yet another agency requiring yet more guidelines or work for over-burdened, tax paying businesses.
