I am writing you to request your vote in favor of the Emergency Temporary Standard/Emergency Regulation 16 VAC25-220. All of the research I have read has shown that if we all wear masks and try to keep a safe distance away, we are all safer.  If doctors and nurses can wear masks for 12 hour shifts, we should be able to tolerate it for the time it takes us to go shopping.  If people don't care enough about others to do this on their own, then this must be regulated by the state, for everyone's protection. The staff in the stores often have no choice but to be exposed to germs for hours at a time and need help to stay safe and to protect their families.  Thank you for your consideration.
