Personal health is not an area over which the government should have jurisdiction. Each person should have the right to decide whether or not he desires to wear a mask. If masks work, then they should protect those who desire to wear them. For the government to interfere and mandate mask-wearing is to say that Virginians are incapable of making good decisions for themselves and that the government can and will make better decisions for them. The very concept is entirely un-American and anti-freedom. These measures are insulting to the populace and are an encroachment upon the rights
