"Conversion therapy" is a harmful and barbaric practice rooted in homophobia. There is no proof that so called "conversion therapy" works and the practice is widely disputed by multiple national and state mental health and public health agencies. Banning conversion therapy as as practice for licensed professionals is the right thing to do. The LGBT community has suffered enough, it now needs to see that Virginia and the Board of Medicine is behind them.
