I believe this amendment is an invasion of privacy and is unnecessary.  You can count flu cases without gathering all of this info.  Names of people should be left out along with any other personal information.  The government isn't very good at protecting information from abuses coming from outside, plus they also can't be trusted not to abuse from their own agencies.
