I oppose the fast-tracking of proposed amendments to “12 VAC 5-90 Changing the Reporting Requirement for Influenza Virus in Virginia”. This topic requires public awareness and an opportunity for input.

I OPPOSE the Proposed Amendments to “12 VAC 5-90 Changing the Reporting Requirement for Influenza Virus in Virginia”. This proposed change is an invasion of my personal privacy. I am entitled to privacy when I go to visit my doctor with any symptoms of anything. To violate that doctor patient confidentiality with a requirement as outlined in this proposed amendment is not acceptable to me in any way. There is no scientific or legal justification provided for these proposed amendments and I am very much opposed to this.

Please DO NOT fast track these proposed amendments and DO NOT pass them.
