Please uphold the right of parents to protect their children against the junk science of transgender advocates.  There is no science that proves that a boy or a girl is born in the wrong body.  Further evidence of the fact that such claims are junk science is that anyone who opposes is shouted down and labeled a bigot rather than offered persuasive scientific facts.  Children are irreparably harmed by the false idea that a boy can "become" a girl and vice versa.  If a child grows up and wishes to live as the opposite sex, that is their decision as an adult, but minors, who cannot even get an ear piercing without their parent's consent, are not equipped to understand the irreversable long term effects on their bodies of attempting to transition to the opposite sex.  Parental rights to protect their children from harm must be preserved until the child turns 18.
