We are hoping Medicaid will reconsider its guidance to limit originating site reimbursement for schools to speech therapy only. The ability of schools to request reimbursement for the facility fees for students seen for primary care and behavioral health services is essential to their ability to sustain the services established through our HRSA funded School Telehealth grant. It is important that schools be allowed to bill for these services for which providers are already being reimbursed.
