An unjust law is no law at all.

There are many people who possess homosexual inclinations, yet recognize their destructive potential. A cursory review of research data demonstrates this point, with consistently higher rates of depression, drug use and suicide. I do oppose the forcing of children to undergo unwanted psychological treatment, but to take away a willing individual's freedom in this matter, to refuse them treatment they desire, to tell them they are trapped with unwanted tendencies because these tendencies happen to be politically and socially popular, is a cruel and lawless deprivation of their rights.

One should hope a therapy ban would fail to pass merely on the basis of common decency; where that is lacking (which is common enough these days), I am confident the higher courts will recognize the blatantly unconstitutional nature of this proposed legislation, driven more by a defense of immoral lifestyles than by concern for anyone's health.

An unjust law is no law at all.
