The Need for More Healthcare Regulation at Abortion Centers

There have been too many 911 calls made from abortion centers to trust that staffs are capable of ensuring basic patient care.  Basic life support should be expected skills of healthcare providers.

Abortion center regulations are essential for the health and safety of Virginia women and must be maintained and enforced, not weakened.  The abortion industry has fought regulation for years, yet repeatedly independent inspectors find serious deficiencies, even during announced inspections. Abortion centers are not able to self-regulate. Furthermore, since abortion operates under the guise of healthcare, abortion centers must adhere to the regulatory standards of other healthcare facilities. Simply, Virginia women deserve nothing less.

Please ensure the health and safety of all women by maintaining and enforcing the abortion center regulations. Thank you for your consideration.
