Please do everything in your power to protect health and safety regulations in all medical facilities, including abortion clinics. While abortion always ends a life and therefore is not how I define health care at all, as long as these clinics do exist they absolutely must abide by regulations to protect the women who use them. I believe that we collectively should be striving towards a world so socially healthy and medically advanced that abortion would be unthinkable even to those who still want to keep abortion facilities open. However, we're simply running backwards if, in addition to providing abortions, we are threatening women's lives by not insisting on basic health and safety regulations. I am pro-life and pro-women from conception all the way down the line--and while I am against abortion, I care about the women who choose it and urge you to do the same.
