The right to an abortion is guaranteed to every woman in the United States through the Roe v. Wade decision, but these regulations on clinics are clearly no more than an attempt to limit women's right to an abortion.
An abortion is one of the safest medical procedures available, and yet these absurd regulations are put in place by legislators who, in most cases, have little to no idea of what is involved in the procedure, with the result that these regulations are often pointless in terms of the safety of patients and the professional practice of the physician.
These regulations are little more than repeated attempts to limit the availability of abortions with no regard for the health or well being of the women involved.
