The safety record of Virginia abortion facilities is horrible. Women have died and been severely injured undergoing abortions and treatment in abortion facilities in Virginia. Yet these facilities are consistently relicensed and allowed to continue to operate. Less stringent regulations will make these facilities even more unsafe than they are now. If anything is needed here it is closer monitoring by the VA Dept. of Health and penalties for failure to meet the regulations.
