Abortion facilities should be required to maintain the same standards as any other out-patient surgical facility, no exceptions.  They should also be subject to the same inspection requirements.  Abortion is a surgical procedure with serious risks including death if something goes wrong.  Women in Virginia should be confident that when they undergo an abortion procedure in the State of Virginia, that their facility is required to operate at the same standard as any other out-patient surgical facility.
