It is impossible for any law or regulation to stop criminals or to protect law abiding citizens at all times.  The only alternatives are to submit to their depredations meekly, or to defend ourselves and our families.  Please support concealed carry in state forests, or provide every visitor with an armed guard during their time in the state forest.

It is immoral to deny a person the ability to effectively defend themselves, if you do not provide for their defense.  

Note:  police reports after the fact do NOT protect the victim, but merely document their victimization.
