I have spent an entire career in compliance and quality manager. These regulations are common to every industry. The more politicized the subject the harder it is for objective looks. Too many respectable third party auditors find issues with these locations to warrant a relaxing to this extent of regulations. The purpose of legalization is supposed to be safety. Due to the ongoing ethical debate people tend only to take a party line. Complications are up due to the political loopholes for the industry given by politically motivated individuals. More women are currently harmed than before. A study by professionals needs doing, not another political movement based on rights.
