Until abortion is outlawed in Virginia, it is crucial for regulatory agencies in Virginia to provide oversight to ensure the safety of women who choose to have an abortion. If Pro-choice advocates truly want to protect women, they should have no problem in wanting the abortion clinics to be as safe as possible. Is it not better to have fewer facilities that are safe than multiple ones that are not? If a clinic cannot meet regulatory standards, should we entrust our women to them? Please uphold safety regulations that will do everything possible to protect women who choose to abort their babies.
