The Virginia Board of Health should rescind the regulations and laws forcing Abortion Clinics and providers to meet the requirements of Hospitals in terms of physical structure, facilities and procedures.  The medical and surgical treatments and procedures for early and mid-term pregnancy termination are exceedingly safe with rare serious complications when performed by trained and qualified individuals.  These regulations place a burden on the consumer and provider that has no justification in terms of safety rather they are designed to be inconvenient and inappropriate.  I strongly endorse the Virginia Board of Health removing these regulations and laws.
