Practicing Medicine without a license

School committees with no procedural guidance from the state will be able to label children with the the restrictive proposed definitions.   In essence, school personnel will take over the role of medical professionals and will practice medicine without background and training.

Lack of state mandated procedural guidelines allow school committee/personnel to label children any way they choose using definitions locked in time.  In essence, school personnel will have the power to practice medicine without the benefit of training and current, researched based special needs information.
