License, Regulation response

I must say that I am very happy to see the license process for installers, I think that it is long overdue. We are a sixty year old company that has seen great advances in the last 15 years. These advances have made it possible to install successful operating systems in poor to moderate conditions. Knowledge of failure in systems is a great educator for installers, when you see why systems fail, and how it is a learning tool to apply to your installations. Unfortunately a lot of companies do not have the experience that a company like mine is blessed with. Because of their  experience levels the VDH whether in the design process or in the inspection process is a tool that this industry needs to keep in place. Without them field control will greatly suffer in my opinion. Here in central Virginia we are fortunate to work with great VDH employees, and constantly have a network of knowledge as well as checks and balances. My opinion in short is ,I'm happy to see the license process for installers(and the regulations), but I am concerned that it could affect some of the VDH and it's employees in a negative way.  We are all here in order to provide proper wastewater disposal and protect our water table for many generations to come, we just need to make sure to keep entact some of the resourses that got us here. Thanks for the opportunity to voice my opinion.
