Dear Friends and Collegues in the on-site industry:

As the President of the Virginia Association of Professional Soil Scientist (VAPSS), I would like to officially retract the VAPSS / VAAOSE position statement posted on 2/4/09, as this was posted in err and I am accountable for this.  Unfortunately, because of my current situation, I was not able to provide the review and input that I should have prior to the posting.  Because of my lack of communication, the current document has been posted.  That said, the Board of VAPSS has been working very hard to compose a position statement and I commend all of the members for this.  I know that our intentions are pure, however, the statement is being revised.  Please know that VAPSS is currently working on an amended statement that remains objective in regards to the proposed regulations.  Also, VAPSS is working closely with the leaders of VaAOSE to clearly define our collective objections and suggestions and those that are comments from VAPSS alone.
