Experience should be correlated with a certain number of actual soil evaluations. Many AOSE's working for VDH that are currently AOSE's have very little actual soil evaluation experience. But yet because of their working for the health department, with 4 years service they have been considered qualified after passing the exam and field review.Manager's should be required to submit at least 50 soil evaluations over the past 2 years showing that the VDH employee has actual soil experience. Many of these VDH people work in the food,or other program. Just a thought!
