On behalf of staff and elected officials, the Town of Vinton is excited for the return of Horse Racing to the Colonial Downs facility in New Kent County and the potential return of an Off Track Betting facility to our Community due to HB 1609 and the introduction of Historical Racing terminals. The Town supports additional flexibility with regards to population thresholds and the limited number of terminals authorized per locality. The Town looks forward to working with the Colonial Downs Group to return OTB and supporting the horse racing industry in the Commonwealth.
