I have commented before but wanted to take another moment to openly support Colonial Downs.  Not only am I an avid supporter of horses and racing, but I also work in the sports industry and know what vibrant sports entities can do for the community.

I have been impressed by the people I have met that are putting together the rebuilding and community reconnection for Colonial Downs.  I believe strongly it will be a community asset from the entertainment standpoint but a positive employer for people that need and want better jobs.  Additionally, I am convinced they will be a very active community business leader.

Thank you for your time and I urge anyone who can to work towards Colonial Downs becoming a positive part of the lives of many Virginians from an employment, recreation and way of life standpoint.
