Currently, Virginia’s horsemen have to travel to Maryland, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania to race, thereby losing revenue that could remain  in the Commonwealth.  The positive impact on Virginia can't be understated to include  the creation of new jobs, enhancement of  Virginia's agricultural assets, tax revenue and overall economic development.
