I am a huge horse racing fan that recently moved to Glen Allen, Virginia from the west coast. I love it here, but I was very surprised to hear that Virginia does not have any active racetracks. I thought this was horse country! That being said, I think it is a great idea to renovate and reopen a historic track like Colonial Downs. I wish the best of luck to everyone involved with this venture and I truly hope that the state of Virginia will do everything possible to accomodate the new ownership and help them succeed.
