On behalf of Richmond Region Tourism, I fully support revitalization thoroughbred horse racing in the Commonwealth at Colonial Downs. By allowing Colonial Downs to operate under fair market conditions with opportunity for future growth, the project will maxmize tourism revenue. Every year more than 7 million visitors spend $2.4 billion in our Region supporting 23,000 jobs. We look forward to Colonial Downs contributing to the tourism economic once again.
