The reintroduction of horse racing in Virginia will mean many new jobs and recapturing money which has been leaving our state going to MD, PA, NY and other states.  We now have the opportunity to rewrite pro-horse racing regulations that will allow racing to be a progressive economic engine in our state and allow it to grow and compete fairly with neighboring states that  are taking our money.  While other states like Maryland are spending millions of taxpayer dollars to support horse racing and build facilities, we have private industry willing to make all of the investment in Virginia with no taxpayer dollars.  PLEASE, act progressively and pass pro-horse racing regulations now!!!
