I support the efforts to redevelop and reopen Colonial Downs as positive job growth and tax revenue for local communities and to support the equestrian industry in the state. I believe the regulations should allow for future growth so the industry can grow with the market, and not be artificially capped or limited. Additionally I support the Virginia horsemen and hope they are fairly represented and engaged in the process to ensure appropriate support is included for the health of the industry and animals alike.
