The L'Arche comminunity is beautiful and unique. Those with disabilities and those without disabilities live together. As the mother of two sons with Down syndrome, I beg you not disrupt this amazing community. To me it is the epitome of a good future for adults with disabilities. It is the best example I have seen of happy and interconnected lives for such adults. Have you visited one of these communities? I recommend it!

Even if you are not able to visit, please do not pass a law that would dismantle such beautiful homes that create real community-a rare success!
