I fully support the removal of a RNs full last name, this can be a safety issue for staff. Currently ED and behavioral Health RNs only have their first name on their badge, often times Medsurge RNs are caring for those same patients to assist with them becoming medically stable prior to being tranferred to the behavioral health unit.
