Speaking out for myself and other nurses, it is a safety issue to be allowed the priviledge of protecting your last name. In today's society, it is relatively easy to access one's location or name on the internet; but we should have the choice to protect ourselves. As in the event of caring for patients who are prisoners, drug/alcohol addicts, or have psychological impairements, we should have the right to protect our name and our families. Please consider making this a state regulation. Thank you.
