SCOTUS has spoken

Regulations on abortion clinics that are not motivated by protecting the health and safety of a woman are disengenous. Over-regulation of abortion clinics is not promoting the health and safety of women, but instead is intended to limit women's right to control their own reproduction. The beliefs of some do not trump the beliefs of others. The Supreme Court ruled recently that regulations on abortion clinics that are not based on medical best practice unjustly deny women a fundmental Constitutional right. Abortion is one of the safest medical procedures performed, and is actually safer than childbirth, but home births are not regulated in the Commonwealth. Do not violate the rights of women by imposing unreasonable and medically unnecessary regulations on abortion clinics.
