Preserve abortion center regulations

Abortion proponents invariably argue that legalization is necessary in order to allow the government to impose regulations to protect the mother's health and safety from "back-alley butchers" who would otherwise save money by operating under unsanitary and corners-cutting conditions.  But when the government actually attempts to do this, the now legalized back-alley butchers pay "pro-choice" politicians million dollar "campaign contributons" in return for interfering with and gutting the common-sense medical regulations which are non-controversial when applied to any other medical procedure.  That suggests that the "make abortion safe!" rhetoric was, in many cases, insincere to begin with.  It is certainly insincere now, in the light of the literally hundreds of documented health and safety violations by abortion centers right here in Virginia.
