I think it is very important that strong regulations be maintained to ensure that abortion facilities are proper medical facilities for the procedures performed there. They should be held to the same standard that other walk-in medical/surgical facilities in the state are held to. This just seems like common sense to me and good public policy for the health and safety of the people that are treated there.  In the beginning when abortion was first being advocated, one of the main argument was that the facilities would be regulated and held to high medical standards.
