Abortion Center Safety

The Abortion Center Health and Safety Standards that are currently under review and amendment by the VA Board of Health should NOT be amended or reduced in ANY WAY.  All centers that perform abortions should be held to the HIGHEST STANDARDS in the care and protection of women who undergo ANY type of surgical procedure, of which an abortion of a baby qualifies.

The proposed Amendments should be REJECTED IN THEIR ENTIRETY and the abortion industry should NOT be trusted to regulate itself, as it has PROVEN it cannot be trusted to enforce standards of care or requirements for training of staff or enforcement of such.

REJECT THE AMENDMENTS.  As a woman who has been a recipient of surgery in a hospital setting and knowing the requirements of safety standards in such a setting, there is NO REASON whatsoever to hold abortion facilities to a lesser standard.  NONE.

REJECT THE AMENDMENTS!
