Dear Sirs / Madames,

I am writing you to express my concern over Gov. McAuliffe's efforts to weaken current health and safety standards for Virginia abortion facilities.  The abortion facilities must be made to comply with the same standards as any other surgical facility to ensure safe care for women patients.  To allow the abortion facilities to take shortcuts in medical practices in order save money and at the same time put women at greater risk while having an abortion will be doing a grave disservice to the patients.  If a facility needs a lowering of standards in order to stay in business, then that facility needs to closed.
