I disagree with the proposed amendments to safety standards for abortion clinics. 

These amendments will lower standards for labs and tests, reduce quality of emergency services, and signficantly weaken cliniic design requirements.

Recent clinic saftery inspections indicate the need for stronger, not weaker, clinic safety requirements.

The proposed amendments should not be adopted.
