Don't End or Water Down abortion provider Clinics' Standards

I have watched as Democrats in the General Assembly have systematically chipped away at the laws passed under our former governor's watch - laws to strengthen the health of workers in women's clinics, particularly clinics providing abortion services.  It has been documented how common clinical practices in these facilities are not up to par - bloddy rags left out, workers (in some cases) not wearing gloves, etc.

These laws are characterized (not universally by party but generally) by many Democrats as either A THREAT TO WOMEN'S REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS, or by many Republicans as WE MUST PREVENT THESE CLINICS from reverting to BACK-ALLEY ABORTION AND UN-CLEANLINESS PRACTICES.

I have to admit I am biased to the Right to Life position - to ensure clean labs and work spaces to ensure the health and well-being of the clinic workers and the mother, and to ensure the abortion procedure is within all state laws.

The Left will always counter with - NO, THEY (PRO-LIFE ADVOCATES) ARE ONLY PROPOSING THIS (LEGISLATION TO PREVENT ABORTIONS.  In some cases that may be true. But you cannot deny the true intent of many Pro-Life grops to the former (health) resons.

Bottom Line - I urge you to not pass into law the ones that eliminate protections put in under the former governor.  I ask you (by voting in your party's counter-reforms) not to chip away at the laws already passed that promote clinical safety standards to be upheld.  I urge you NOT to eliminate plans and legislation that helps INFORM the mother of the consequences of abortion; I urge you NOT to strip away the law providing for an ultrasound viewing of the BABY (you call it a fetus or mass) with the mother.
