1.  Abortion clinics should be held to the same standard as any other medical facility that performs invasive procedures.  I oppose any directives or regulations that reduce these standards.  To reduce the standards would be purely policial/idealogical in nature and not based on sound medical practices. 

2.  Additionally, my wife and I *oppose* any part of the Governor’s proposed amendments that would alter standards for medical testing and laboratory services, diminish the requirements regarding emergency services, nullify many requirements for facility design and construction, and specifically carve out chemically induced abortions from abortions in general.
