The regulations in place for abortion clinics protect the health and safety of women. Any abortion procedure, at any time of gestation, is a surgical procedure, and standards for sanitary clinics and ethical processes must be kept in place. There is absolutely no reason to water down the standards, and doing so would lead to compromising the safety of women.
