Abortion Protections?

It is an unfortunate reality that many women do not understand the high value God places on human life.  Our Constitution guarantees the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  Our nation has chosen to exclude the right of the most defenseless among us - the unborn through legalized abortion.

The Commonwealth of Virginia certainly is to be commended for tackling the problems of poor nutrition and inferior housing for its disadvantaged citizens through its health and human services agency. In the long term, it would seem to be more cost efficient and a better alternative to provide assistance through education, information and wise counseling for women who may be unable to forsee the future consequences of their decision to terminate an unplanned or unwanted pregnancy.  It is time for the Commonwealth of Virginia to become an added voice for the nation to protect women from unfortunate consequences and to protect the lives of the unborn. It really is about abundant life for all.

Respectfully Submitted,
