HB1228 will fix the the problems the HB1455 created by changing the language that boxing had to follow DPOR standards which barred combatants under 18 from Competing. If I have been informed correctly that was the main problem that effected Boxing in the common wealth. If so then all boxers should support this bill and let the MMA people sort it out with the other stuff. We should of not been lumped in there in the first place. Again, I have been told and by reading the legislation myself it does seem that HB1228 will fix the problems that HB 1455 created for the boxing community.
