I support this bill, because as a fighter I support having regulations and standards for a sanctioning body. Having a sanctioning body without regulations will lead to bad judging and officiating of the sport, as well as puts fighters safety at risk. I fully support mixed martial arts, but it seems like a no brainier given the violent and dangerous nature of the sport of mixed martial art that there must be a set standard for those who are referring any of these bouts considering the official has the responsibility of stopping the fight and observing fouls.
