I am a professional who believes that quality and competence are the most important components of services. I have benefited greatly from acupuncture treatments and am extremely impressed by the safeness and effectiveness of this valuable method. I would never believe that physical therapy sites would be able to provide similar treatment without having adequate education and training. My acupuncturists have had at least four or five of formal college medical education plus many hundreds of hours of training in addition to having passed the examinations required to practice. Allowing inadequately educated and under/untrained physicians to practice dry needling will jeopardize patients’ safety and their health.
