I'm in total support of the increase in CE hours for LVTs in VA. With all that a Technician is expected to do in the workplace I feel the current 6 hours is too few. The increase to 8 hours should not be an issue for anyone with all the online CE available as well as regional CE meetings held by the VALVT, which are free to membership as well as the 2 state meetings and the numerous other meeting either free or paid registration. I feel with the increase in hours, it is a positive for everyone (patient, client, staff, Veterinarian and the Technician themselves.
