Dear Mr. Coleburn:

Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the proposed new regulation concerning label content restrictions and a new 30-day approval process.  We also appreciate the Board's efforts in this proposal to eliminate several existing restrictions and seeking to speed up the approval process for beer labels.

On behalf of Miller Brewing Company, our only suggestion would be to amend the 30-day approval process to 15 business days.    Shipment of new products and/or packages that will be available to other states may be delayed in Virginia because of the 30 day waiting period.   A 15 business day approval process is in line with other state alcohol beverage control agencies.

Again, thank you for the opportunity to offer comments on this positive regulatory change.

Sincerely,

Dwayne A. Kratt
Miller Brewing Company
