As a Registered Nurse with a Masters Degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing, I am shocked that the Board of Health is considering weakening the safety standards for abortion clinics in Virginia.I urge the Board to keep the safety standards high for the protection of women who seek abortions. Even if we know that the baby will usually not survive an abortion, we certainly hope that the mother will. Mary Bell
